Little Red Caboose Preschool is a home based preschool focusing on kindergarten preparation. We will be learning the alphabet sounds, recognizing and writing letters A-Z, learning 30 sight words, reading, recognizing and writing numbers 1-20, counting to 100, colors, shapes, patterns, months of the year, days of the week, etc. We will also be focusing on some other skills that students need before kindergarten such as socialization, following directions, cooperation, sharing, hand-eye coordination, confidence in talking in front of the class and fine motor skills. We will be learning through music, play, classroom time, arts and crafts, learning centers, science experiments, and creative movement.
